Job description

Job Title : Teradata Administrator

Location : Columbus, OH

Pay Rate : $62 -$65 / hr on W2

Introduction

Join our team as a Teradata Administrator, where you will architect advanced, strategic DBMS solutions and support the development and production of large-scale, complex environments. Your role will be crucial in managing the execution of database implementations and upgrades, ensuring the highest standards of data governance and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

(Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
Experience in Teradata Data Warehouse administration
Proficiency in Python scripting and JSON
Strong skills in SUSE Linux Administration and AWS Cloud

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

(Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

Experience with BAR Backup

Familiarity with ServiceNow

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

(Key tasks and expectations for the role)

Maintain and engineer solutions for existing on-prem Teradata data warehouse

Integrate the system with tools that monitor platform security

Troubleshoot issues related to backups, restores, performance, and network

Engage in projects for migration to Teradata cloud solutions
