As an Airport Law Enforcement Officer - Armed Patrol in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, its travelers, and airport operations. You will interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Position Type : Part Time - Morning / Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate : $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Time : Tue 04 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM Sat 02 : 00 PM - 12 : 30 AM

Minimum Qualifications (NO EXCEPTIONS) : To be considered, all applicants must meet the following criteria :

2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level)

Must provide valid and verifiable credentials at the time of application

Pre-Employment Requirements :

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (must provide credentials upon applying)

Valid Driver's License

Law Enforcement Officer License

22+ years of age

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns

Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or critical events

Remain alert and attentive during all assigned shifts, maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity

Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain proficiency in security-related protocols, emergency response, and the proper handling of firearms

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent

Must possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations

Must be at least 22 years of age

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements

Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law

Participate in industry-specific security training programs

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
