Business Analyst- Financial Operations

Job Title

Provides programs to improve financial analysis, operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and operational business objectives as well as Oracle business processes. Skills / experience include experience with financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and forecasting to facilitate decision making. Strong Microsoft Office skills and strong analysis and research skills are required. A BS / BA in Accounting / Finance is preferred, and CPA / MBA is desired. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format is critical. Attention to detail is essential. Experience in working with multi-cultural and remote contacts is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and has the ability to track the progress of multiple inquiries and tasks effectively.

Position can be fully remote in the US as long as the ability to travel as required.

Reporting to an Operations Manager, responsibilities include delivering results on project financial management activities including all aspects of financial support for planning and control, project hours management and forecasting, EACs, milestone management, invoicing, and billing. Major functions may include but are not limited to :

• Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis, and ad-hoc analysis as needed.
• Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and / or deals.

• Project Hours management and Forecasting
• Support PMs in the EAC Process
• Milestone Management and Revenue
• Monitor Writeoffs (WAR) and Maintain Non-bill tasks
• Monitor and Action Credit Holds
• Invoicing and billing
• Support day-to-day operations for the organization

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US : Hiring Range in USD from $24.62 to $48.03 per hour; from : $51,200 to $99,900 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
