Must-Have :

• Craniotomy and burr hole experience

Description :

Looking for an Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in Neuro / Spine, Ortho / Trauma, and General / Robotics.

The nurse will work in the Main OR and will be required to have call and late days as necessary.

Candidates must possess experience with craniotomies and burr holes.

Preferred experience includes working in a Trauma Level I or II setting.

Preferred charting system experience includes Allscripts.

Previous charge experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Travel experience is also preferred.

The nurse will be involved in a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to :

• Amputations
• Anterior cervical fusion
• Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction
• Appendectomy
• Arthroscopy
• Arthrotomy
• Burns
• Carpal tunnel release
• Cervical fusions
• Cholecystectomy
• Closed reduction of fractures
• Colon resection
• Craniotomy
• Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• General OR
• Gunshot / stab wounds
• Hernia repair
• Kyphoplasty
• Laminectomy / discectomy
• Laparoscopic assisted procedures
• Lumbar fusion
• Mastectomy
• Multiple injuries from motor vehicle accidents
• Open reduction of fractures
• Orthopedic / Spine procedures
• Spinal Fusion
• Total joint replacement

Clinicians must be available to complete necessary laboratory items within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a plan in place for completion in that timeframe.

Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.

The average time for modules is 6-8 hours.

All candidates should be aware that a drug screening will be conducted prior to starting.

This includes testing for marijuana, and a positive result will lead to automatic cancellation of the candidacy.

Candidates should avoid any substances that could lead to a positive drug screen result, including CBD products.
