Float Requirements : Float first to all inpatient units including critical care, NICU and Acute Care

On Call / Call-Back : No call

Weekend : Every other weekend (FRI / SAT / SUN) rotation

Holidays : If needed

Minimum Experience : 1+ years PICU experience.

Patient ratios : 1 : 1-3 (depending on acuity)

Charting / Equipment : EPIC highly preferred

Equipment used : oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT. May be potential to have code phone (training provided)

Unit Specific Skillset : 44 bed Surgical / trauma / medical pediatric critical care unit caring for a variety of ages from neonate through young adult. Patient populations include neurosurgical, general surgical, trauma, and medical / respiratory patients. Teaching hospital, may have students.

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
