Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Procedure room to support our client’s medical facility, located in Mount Kisco, NY 10549. This is a 3+ months contract assignment (conversion into permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Specific Duties :

• Provide patient care in the procedure suite, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely admission of patients.
• Obtain procedural and anesthesia consents in accordance with facility standards.
• Assist gastroenterologists during procedures and support intraoperative activities.
• Collect, label, and document specimens accurately.
• Monitor patients in recovery (PACU), assess readiness for discharge, and provide post-procedure instructions.
• Address patient and escort questions regarding post-procedure care.
• Review and assess patients’ appropriateness for procedures within the Quad A outpatient suite.
• Advise patients on medication holds, issues, and required pre-procedure testing.
