DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a primary technical resource for Salesforce, managing data migrations, integrations, and custom application developments.
Create and design scalable solutions using Visualforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other technologies that align with our goals.
Serve as a subject matter expert, guiding best practices across multiple projects while enhancing system integrity and efficiency.
Identify and implement improvements to maximize Salesforce capabilities and automate processes for better productivity.
Ensure compliance with a robust change management process for the development and implementation of applications and updates.
Design scalable Salesforce Communities and portal functionalities to meet user needs and enhance collaboration.
Provide operational support for Salesforce and take proactive steps to resolve issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Participate in various concurrent Salesforce projects while effectively managing deadlines and organizational needs.
Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by mentoring others and promoting continuous improvement within the team.
Evaluate and implement new technologies that can enhance Salesforce capabilities and performance.
Document all code and configurations according to organizational standards, ensuring alignment with best practices.
Engage in training and meetings to maintain a well-rounded understanding of organizational initiatives and requirements.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Extensive experience with Salesforce CRM, with a strong grasp of Force.com development best practices.
Ability to integrate data from multiple sources and present it in a user-friendly format using tools like Data Loader.
Proficiency in building Salesforce Communities and Portals, as well as experience with custom objects and configuration.
Strong foundation in programming languages including Apex, Java, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS.
Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated skills in data quality management and troubleshooting.
Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement technology solutions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities to develop and recommend effective solutions.
Capability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

EXPERIENCE
Requirements
Seven years of experience in Salesforce solutions development, including Sales and Service Cloud, Communities / Portals, and apps.
Five years of expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and relevant web technologies.
Five years of experience in Salesforce integrations and data migrations using Data Loader or similar tools.
Three years working with software and hardware vendors.
Preferences
Experience in implementing single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
Experience creating dashboards and reports for business intelligence purposes.
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector is a plus.
Knowledge of React and / or React Native programming libraries is a bonus.
EDUCATION
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferences
Master's degree in a relevant field.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURE
Requirements
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II Certification is required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
