Rates : $400 / hr

Schedule Type : Flexible Schedule

OnCall : Yes

OnCall Ratio : Weekend call (Saturday 8am - Sunday 5pm)

Call Specifics :

  • Weekend call from Saturday 8am to Sunday 5pm.
  • Round on patients in the morning and then take patient phone calls from hotel.

Work Assignment Details :

  • Coverage Dates Needed : October July (2 consecutive non-holiday weeks each month)
  • Shift Hours : Inpatient coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Weekend Coverage : Includes patient rounding (AM before 12 noon) and call coverage that can be taken outside the hospital.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Morning Rounds : From 8 AM to 5 PM, including new admissions and performing discharges.
  • Teaching : Support the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows during rounding.
  • Procedures Required : None
  • Patient Load : 15-25 patients

    • Requirements :

  • Fellowship : Cardiology required, will not accept experience over fellowship.
  • Board Status : BC / BE (Board Certified / Board Eligible)
  • Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS (PALS not required)
  • Support Staff : General Cardiology APPs
  • EMR System : Epic (both clinic and hospital)
  • Telehealth Experience : No

  • Teamwork : Able to work effectively with the team, be an effective teacher, and collaborate with medical students, residents, fellows, and other attendings.
