Position Overview :
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced General Orthopedic Surgeons with recent arthroscopic and orthopedic trauma / fracture care experience. Providers will support VA clinic, operating room, and on-call services, ensuring timely, high-quality orthopedic care to Veterans. This is an onsite position requiring full credentialing, privileging, and compliance with all VA, federal, and clinical.

Education : MD / DOLicensure / Certification :Current, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
Board Eligible or Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS).Current BLS and ACLS certifications; all CME and CEU requirements must be maintained.National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy Code required.Valid DEA registration.Experience : Proven technical proficiency in orthopedic surgery, trauma care, and arthroscopic procedures.Language : Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English.Technical Requirements : Demonstrated adherence to all infection control and occupational health standards, including :TB testing (TST or IGRA)

Provide comprehensive orthopedic clinical and surgical care onsite during designated clinic and OR hours.Perform arthroscopic procedures, fracture care, and general orthopedic surgical interventions.Complete all required documentation in CPRS / VISTA EMRs.Participate in on-call coverage (24 / 7 when clinic / OR is closed), ensuring :Availability by phone within 15 minutesAvailability onsite within 60 minutesMaintain timely patient scheduling, consult completion, and adherence to all VA wait-time standards.Participate in all VA-required performance reviews, including OPPE, FPPE, and low-volume evaluations.Maintain strict compliance with VA policies, Medical Staff Bylaws, and patient safety standards.Complete mandatory annual and one-time training requirements (ACLS / BLS, ethics, safety, privacy, EHR, etc.)
