As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents while patrolling transportation locations and providing a visible presence. What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around transportation facilities and their perimeters to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the transportation location to help to deter security-related incidents.

Document observations, occurrences, and security-related incidents according to Allied Universal procedures and site-specific requirements.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed for incidents that occur on the premises.

Maintain a visible presence at the assigned transportation location to help to deter criminal activity and / or violations of site policies.

Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including communication devices and access control systems.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
