Job Description

Discover Impactful Work : As the Director of Cloud Security you will own the cybersecurity strategy and roadmap execution across our multi-cloud ecosystem to further protect Thermo Fisher from a constantly evolving threat and vulnerability landscape.

A day in the Life :

• Build and implement the enterprise-wide multi-cloud cybersecurity strategy standardized frameworks and technical solution roadmaps
• Lead teams of cloud security engineers spanning project operational and M&A activities
• Own the continuous growth and development of your team by setting annual priorities and goals
• Ensure alignment of cloud enforcement and governance activities across all business groups and key partners
• Validate proper maintenance and deployment of our security solutions and partner with infrastructure and business IT teams using the cloud as a platform

Keys to Success :

This leader will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills to counteract a variety of threats facing Thermo Fisher. This includes a blend of strategic and tactical thinking to ensure the success of Thermo Fishers multi-cloud cybersecurity program while fostering collaboration across organizations to promote alignment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $176000.00$234700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and / or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes :
