In this role, you will :

  • Assess patients to identify psychosocial, financial, and environmental needs.
  • Conduct initial evaluations and continuous assessments of patient needs.
  • Communicate significant findings to relevant personnel to ensure coordinated care.
  • Implement safety plans utilizing family and community resources.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the Plan of Care to guarantee seamless care and transition.
  • Provide skilled interventions aligned with established standards and physician orders.
  • Engage patients and families in following care plans and achieving care goals.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to maintain updated patient information and care transitions.

    Essential Qualifications :

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and CCLS certification from the Child Life Council.
  • Current CCLS certification.
  • At least 2 years of Child Life Specialist experience in healthcare.
