Industrial Engineer - Peoria, Illinois

Our large manufacturing client located in Peoria, Illinois, is looking for an Manufacturing Engineer - Safety, to add to their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provide support to production and assure optimum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Primary objectives include creation of Standard Work documentation and performing Risk Assessments for processes related to the machining and assembly team.

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include :

• Creating Standard Work documentation
• Experience assessing safety & ergonomic risks
• Good industrial background
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer Skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Technical writing experience
• Experience with SFMEA
• Daily in-person interaction with the operations team, manufacturing engineers, and safety professionals.
