Claims Coordinator

Claims Coordinator $49,920 - $58,240 annually The Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services (MHARS) Board of Lorain County seeks to hire a full-time Claims Coordinator. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following : Coordinate and manage the Boards claims process through the GOSH System. Analyze claims data and ensure accuracy and completeness of that data. Maintain systems and perform all processes necessary to move claims through the system to ensure timely payment to Provider Agencies. Maintain accurate records of all claims and related documentation. Knowledge and Experience : Associate degree (preferred) in accounting, finance or other related discipline. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in Mental Health and / or Substance Use Disorder claims processing. Working knowledge of ODM Medicaid Behavioral Health State Plan Services a plus. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and applications (specifically Excel and Word). Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
