Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

New Medical Oncology Full Time Locum Opportunity in Northern AZ

Start Date : March 14, 2022

Requirements : BC or BE, AZ state license and DEA

Note : takes about 7 days to get you licensed in AZ

Contract Length : Full Time hours - 6 months contract

Typical Hours : 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm

Patient Volume : 12-15 patients per day

Location : 4 days in 1 location and 1 / 2 day in a location 30 mins away

Job Details :

• 1 Fulltime Oncologist currently on staff
• 1 Oncologist cover after hours : the oncologist on site. They have an answering service who triages the calls then forwards to the oncologist on call.
• Assistance in office is 2 Medical Assistants, 1 RN, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Referral Specialist, 2 Front Desk Receptionists, and 1 Patient Advocate along with the Practice Manager (who is not always on site).
• There is call with this position : phone coverage for hours outside of 8am to 5pm.
