Key Responsibilities of the Accountant

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Monitor and record daily expenses, purchases, and cash activity

Maintain and reconcile the general ledger

Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting

Support preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns

Scan checks, manage vendor communications, and ensure timely processing of transactions

Collaborate with internal departments to improve accounting workflows and documentation

Preferred Qualifications for the Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

2-5 years of general accounting experience (including AP, AR, and GL)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• QuickBooks experience is required
