Position : Therapist-SLP-Speech Language Pathologist (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients.

Develop individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.

Implement therapy sessions to improve communication skills.

Achieve set targets and contribute to the success of the therapy department.

Monitor and document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.

Educate patients and families on communication strategies and techniques.

Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions and patient interactions.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Stay updated with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy.

Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.

Contribute to the development of new therapy programs and initiatives.

Provide feedback and support to peers to foster a collaborative work environment.

Experience / Qualifications

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of California.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Strong ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

Willingness to stay updated with the latest speech therapy techniques.

Minimum of two years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.

Proficiency in documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans.

Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Strong focus on achieving set targets and contributing to departmental success.

Experience in contributing to new therapy programs and initiatives.
