Assisting in the operating room with elective, acute care, and traumatic surgical cases. General Surgery and Elective / bread-and-butter general surgery procedures for an adult patient population.

As a Physician, you will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive care and treatment for a wide range of health issues including, but not limited to acute care, physicals / wellness exams, diabetes checkups, and hospital follow ups.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mix of impatient, clinic and OR responsibilities
• Perform a wide range of trauma surgeries, including emergency procedures for complex injuries. Demonstrate expertise in managing critically ill and injured patients.
• Provide acute surgical interventions for a variety of urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate closely with attending surgeons and advanced practice providers
• Perform surgical procedures and provide OR support as needed
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope of practice
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and develop treatment plans for trauma and acute care patients. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate referrals, transfers, and community resource connections
