Job description

Job Title : Salesforce Analyst / Administrator (Contract – Maternity Leave Coverage)

Location : Remote (onsite not required)

Duration : Early December 2025 – End of March 2026

About the Role :

We are seeking a junior Salesforce Analyst / Administrator to provide coverage during a maternity leave. This role will support day-to-day Salesforce administration, serve as Tier 1 support for user requests, and collaborate with our System Designer to maintain and enhance the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide daily administration and Tier 1 support for the Salesforce platform, including managing tickets and troubleshooting issues.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, flows, dashboards, reports, validation rules, and approval processes.
  • Manage user access, profiles, permissions, and roles to ensure data security and compliance.
  • Partner with staff and the System Designer to translate business needs into system updates or enhancements.
  • Support change and release management processes, including configuration testing and documentation.
  • Ensure data integrity through best practices in data entry, cleansing, and deduplication.
  • Train and support Salesforce users, promoting adoption and efficient usage.
  • Stay current on Salesforce updates and apply relevant improvements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior Salesforce experience required; Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
  • 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (junior-level).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a regulated or life sciences environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to support multiple stakeholders.
