Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver (Towing trailers or Flatbeds, No CDL) for the SW Ohio territory (Dayton and surrounding)

Seeking delivery drivers with experience towing trailers and driving flatbeds to transport new and rental equipment and products to our customers. Strong base salary + bonus potential, profit sharing and more. A company vehicle, cell phone and laptop will be provided for the Delivery Driver to manage their territory across SW Ohio. Seeking a self-motivated individual with a valid driver's license and clean driving record who is willing to learn. The Delivery Driver is responsible for managing transportation of rental equipment, providing light customer support with equipment, and a positive customer experience.

Specific Duties :

• Manage daily and weekly delivery schedule. Prioritize deliveries and work orders to effectively manage and customers' materials and equipment support needs.
• Drive flatbed trucks and / or tow trailered equipment to deliver parts, equipment, and pallets of material to customers in your assigned region.
• Deliveries may involve transporting equipment from one location or customer, to another, and may require light equipment operation demonstrations. At times, coordinating available equipment with co-workers in, and traveling to, surrounding territories may be required.
• Mechanical aptitude to perform light troubleshooting a plus.
• Conduct daily record keeping of driving logs, work orders, customer contacts, parts, equipment, and / or material orders.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers across your territory. Customer base includes government agencies (State DOT, cities, counties, and airports) and private contractors, consulting engineers / firms, and utility companies, schools, and more.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge about our equipment and pavement maintenance products (crack sealant, sealcoat, patching materials) for road and bridge maintenance and preservation.
• Physical capabilities to perform job duties including : sitting / standing for long periods, hitching and / or loading / unloading equipment and materials, conducting deliveries, and equipment demonstrations.
• Provide light overview training to customers on safe and proper operation of equipment and appropriate material application.
• Suggest ideas, improvements, and innovations by input or comments from customers and personal experiences in the field.
• Complete and submit necessary documents and reports in a timely manner including but not limited to : Customer notes and updates in Salesforce, expense reports, call / activity reports, vehicle and driver DOT and compliance documentation, work orders, and other documents, as needed.
• Coordinate with sales personnel to support start-up and delivery training demonstrations of Crafco products in territory, as needed.
