UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team in Dubuque, IA. Finley Hospital has served the greater Dubuque community for over 130 years, evolving from a physician-led residential facility to a regional healthcare system including hospital, clinic, and home services.

Opportunity Highlights

Assist in growing a new practice with strong physician support.
Current team includes 1 Neurosurgeon and 1 PA.
Full-time position offering inpatient and outpatient care.
Utilize EPIC EMR for care coordination across clinics and hospitals.

Responsibilities

Manage 10-15 outpatient and 3-5 inpatient patients daily.

Clinic hours : Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Potential backup call and weekend rounding once fully trained.

Support the physician in the OR.

Evaluate and interpret patient information to guide care decisions.

Collaborate effectively within the team and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

Physician Assistant (preferred) or Nurse Practitioner with OR experience.

Board Certified.

Unrestricted medical license in IA.

Authority to prescribe and administer medications in IA.

Eligible to work in the U.S.
