About The Position We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a 98-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Dec 29, 2025. This position features a 7 on / 7 off rotating schedule, covering pulmonary consults and cases in a 14-bed ICU. Shifts run 8am to 5pm, with rotating weekday and weekend call responsibilities. Candidates must have recent ICU experience and be proficient with Meditech EHR. Job Details Location : Kentucky Start Date : Dec 29, 2025 LOA : 98 days Provider Type Needed : Pulmonologist Schedule : 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off; Monday am to Monday am; 8am-5pm shifts; weeknight call 5pm-8am; 24-hour weekend call Responsibilities and Duties Provide pulmonary consultations and manage cases in an ICU Perform oral / nasal intubation Conduct thoracentesis procedures Perform bronchoscopy with biopsy Place central venous and arterial lines Conduct arterial punctures Manage ventilators Perform tube thoracostomy Participate in rotating call schedule Additional Information Must be board certified in Pulmonary Disease Must have completed pulmonary training with ICU experience within the last 2 years Kentucky medical license required Experience with Meditech EHR preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
