Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Services is looking for an Entry Level Quality Systems Specialist to join our team in Coppell, TX
Position Responsibilities
- Follows established procedures for completing work tasks within the work group.
- Oversee job processes, tasks, and work products to ensure freedom from errors, omissions, or defects. Initiates action to correct routine quality problems.
- Uses knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformances to reduce scrap, minimize rework, reduce cost and improve quality to meet all requirements.
- Reviews routine processes to identify gaps between requirements and current outputs within own work group.
- Identify potential conditions that contribute to gaps or key variances; explores relationships between conditions and effects; distinguishes causes from symptoms and identifies causes.
- Generate basic ideas for solutions; analyzes the effect or impact of each solution on own work group; selects appropriate solutions.
- Test solutions; gather feedback on effectiveness; reviews impact on baseline measures; modifies solutions as appropriate to ensure effectiveness.
- Knowledge of customer's / supplier's organization, processes, policies and procedures, products, requirements, capabilities, practices, support resources, preferences, constraints, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
1 year or more of related work experienceStrong communication, problem solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work on deadlinesExperience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and WordPreferred Qualifications (Desired)
