Job description

BestLogic Staffing is recruiting a Structural Engineer on behalf of our client, a leader in the construction and engineering industry. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the planning, analysis, and design of structures and structural systems using wood, masonry, steel, and concrete. Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan, design, and oversee the construction of structural systems for various projects.
  • Perform detailed analysis of structural components to ensure compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize engineering software and tools to model and design structural systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop efficient and cost-effective designs.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and best practices in structural engineering.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related field (required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with Structural Discipline (required).
  • Proven experience in the design of wood, masonry, steel, and concrete structures.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
