In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable Department. This includes the management of all payment processing for the organization.

We are looking for someone to :
- Plans, staffs, and leads the Accounts Receivable activities for the Accounting Services Division. This includes managing associate performance in accordance with established guidelines, coaching and motivating direct reports, and administering compensation.
- Maintains bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
- Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the departments Recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations.
- Manages the processing of all payments which includes premium, group bill, , internet, express check, credit card, and other miscellaneous payments : Fraternal, Sales, Benefits etc.
- Manages relationships with the various vendors that work directly with Accounts Receivable including our bank and payment processing software vendor.
- Oversee the compliance activities of Accounts Receivable including the USA Patriot Act & OFAC Compliance.
- Responds to inquiries and works directly with the department to ensure all issues are resolved. Serves as the liaison with other divisions in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational issues.
- Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality in accordance with the expectations established by your manager and WoodmenLife policy.
- Generates reports to bring insight into payment activity and other relevant metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
We need someone who has :
Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, with emphasis in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.Proficient in knowledge of payments and payment technologies.Experience with insurance or banking with emphasis on wires, ACH's, and electronic payments.Must be proficient at managing projects across multiple business units through partnering with management to reach consensus in resolving compliance initiatives.Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Ability to organize resources and establish priorities in order to effectively meet deadlines.Proven problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.Ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service.Engages well with others and are passionate about providing an exemplary customer experience.Desired Qualifications
