Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead financial operations across both corporate and project-level accounting. This role will be instrumental in supporting strategic growth initiatives, managing audits, and ensuring financial compliance. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on accounting experience, leadership skills, and construction industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations across both corporate and project-level accounting.
• Support strategic growth initiatives and manage audits to ensure financial compliance.
• Prepare documentation and lead audit readiness twice annually.
• Directly manage accounting personnel with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee project-side budgeting and forecasting (30-40% focus) and corporate-side month-end reporting (60-70% focus).
• Ensure quarterly reporting tied to loan agreements and manage multi-state tax preparation.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel for data entry and financial analysis.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
