Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Pikeville, Kentucky.

- Shift Requirements : 12 HR NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING
- Float Requirements : Med Surg / Tele units will float throughout all in-patient areas. May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance.
- On Call / Call Back Requirements : N / A
- Weekend / Holiday Requirements : every other weekend / holiday required unless given time off approval
- Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal : KY / Compact RN License. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS & NIHSS required.
- EKG test required for all RN's, to be completed during the compliance process.
- Minimum Experience : 1 year as RN in specialty. MUST have Level I or Level II Trauma experience.
- Charting Experience Required : Care View / EPIC (effective June 1) preferred, will train on-site
- Required Skillset : General Med / Tele. Must be able to read / interpret tele strips
- Unit Information (Bed size, beds, Patient ratio) : 340 bed Level II Trauma Center. Patient ratio : 1 : 6. Beds : 15-45 beds depending on which unit you are on.

- Scrub Colors : black
- COVID Vaccine Requirements : Covid Vaccine required unless medical / religious declination is applicable. If declination is accepted, weekly testing is required at the traveler / agency expense & verification.
- GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
