Job Description

Role : Sr. React.js Developer

Location : Minneapolis

Duration : 12 months

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of large-scale React applications and frontend architecture (component libraries, state management, routing, SSR / CSR strategies).
• Define and enforce frontend standards : component patterns, accessibility (WCAG), performance budgets, and testing strategy.
• Build and evolve a shared component library (Storybook) and design system for reuse across products.
• Drive decisions on frameworks / tools (React, TypeScript, Next.js / Remix / Gatsby, Redux / RTK / React Query, Vite / Webpack) and integrate them into CI / CD pipelines.
• Optimize client performance (code-splitting, lazy loading, tree shaking, bundle analysis, critical rendering path).
• Implement robust testing (unit, integration, E2E) and observability for frontend (RUM, synthetic monitoring).
• Mentor senior and mid-level frontend engineers; run code reviews and architecture sessions; grow the frontend discipline.
• Collaborate with backend / platform teams to design APIs (REST / GraphQL) and ensure secure, resilient integrations.
• Own release quality : feature flagging, canary / blue-green rollouts, rollback plans and performance gating.
• Participate in product discovery and translate UX requirements into scalable technical solutions.
