Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Gainesville, Florida.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Telemetry / Med-Surg

Location : Gainesville, FL

Shift : 12-Hour Variable Shifts (Days or Nights; Rotating Weekends)

Employment Type : Permanent

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess patients upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in condition.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and address any adverse reactions appropriately.
  • Perform procedures and monitor patient status as ordered by the healthcare provider, documenting all care accurately in the medical record.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring complete understanding.
  • Provide compassionate, responsive care by anticipating patient needs and addressing them promptly.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote patient safety, optimal recovery, and a positive patient experience.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN Diploma or higher).
  • Licensure : Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Florida or Compact License.
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 4 years).
  • Certifications :

    • BLS (Basic Life Support) – required within 30 days of hire.

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required within 90 days of hire.

    • Schedule Details :

  • Full-Time | 36 hours per week.
  • Shift Options : Days or Nights (rotating weekends required).
  • Opportunity for overtime and additional shifts as needed.
