Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will collaborate cross-functionally with your team, PMO, the architecture team, Business Analysts, and other software application SMEs and teams at Dish to deliver API integration across BSS, OSS, and 3rd party vendors. The ideal candidate is experienced in implementing modern cloud-based platforms and tools and has an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and excellent critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Align product vision with business goals and gain stakeholder buy-in on key decisions and strategies
  • Lead iteration and capacity planning, breaking down tasks with development teams and ensuring clear deliverables
  • Manage and track sprints, releases, and overall project success (on time, on budget, meeting goals)
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and act as the liaison between engineering teams and product stakeholders
  • Prioritize and groom product backlogs, decompose features into user stories, and coordinate cross-team delivery
  • Evangelize product vision, roadmap, backlog, and team metrics across the organization to drive alignment and transparency

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise product ownership experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise experience in determining and documenting requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise software / API integration experience
  • Skills and Qualifications :

  • Proven ability to facilitate Agile sprint ceremonies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of enterprise solution architecture principles
  • Technical knowledge of data models and data management
  • Technical knowledge of APIs and integration
  • Self-starter and ability to navigate a complicated environment
  • Proficiency with OpenAPI specifications
  • Must have experience working with offshore teams
  • Experience in the following areas is a plus :
  • Wireless retail industry
  • AWS or other cloud platforms
  • Apigee API Management
  • Java, SpringBoot, or Node.js development
  • Visa sponsorship not available for this role

    Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person on-site interview

    Salary Ranges

    Compensation : $83,160.00 / Year - $118,800.00 / Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
