Dance Reality LLC. is hiring : UI / UX Designer in Indianapolis

Dance Reality is searching for a talented UI / UX designer to design a stunning user interface for its upcoming VR / AR app, which helps people learn to dance from the comfort and privacy of their home.

Responsibilities

Work with game designers to craft a cohesive and intuitive navigation system that integrates well into our VR environment

Develop real-time displays during dance exercises, showcasing stats, progress, and other relevant data

Create detailed UI mockups from the designs, maintaining a style that follows the game’s theme and is consistent with the game’s visuals. Source visual assets as needed (icons, photos, animations)

Work with game developers to ensure that designs are implemented to specification, and function as intended

Prototype and iterate designs based on playtesting feedback

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in UI / UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating artistic talent and a great understanding of design principles

Proficiency in UX design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud…)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, human-computer interaction, or similar

Familiarity with how UIs function in game engines (Unity)

This is a project-scoped, part-time or full-time assignment for a freelancer working remotely.
