Description :

Cath Lab RN required.

Assignment lengths are available for 13 or 26 weeks based on clinician's choice.

Shift schedule is 4x10 days.

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience are accepted.

First-time travelers are welcome.

The RN should possess the following certifications : BLS and ACLS.

On-call is required one day per week and every fourth or fifth weekend.

The clinician may float to other related departments to meet facility needs.

Block schedule accommodations are not available.

Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.

A valid nursing license must be available.

Time off requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis upon offer.

Guaranteed hours are 70 hours every two weeks, but the traveler may be called off for one 10-hour shift every two weeks.

The facility is an acute care hospital with a Magnet designation and Level II Trauma status.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.

Travelers are required to have experience with specific skills and procedures relevant to the Cath Lab setting.

A minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty is required.

The traveler must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Candidates must comply with specific licensing and health requirements.
