About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech

Profession : Surgical Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : 3+ years of surgical tech experience; strong experience in cardiac and DaVinci for general surgery; no first-time travelers; must have DaVinci general scrub experience / knowledge.

License : Valid surgical tech license

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA

Must-Have : Work history / resume; skills checklist completed within 1 year; copy of required certifications; references from a supervisory performance evaluation within 2 years of employment / contract; proof of taxable address.

Description :

Clinician(s) will be contacted by leadership to discuss the assignment and department.

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, contribute professional knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

The unit has a bed size of 14.

Equipment includes DaVinci Xi, Mako, and Rosa.

Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays : Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving.

There is a limit of 1 day request off between specified holiday periods for all travelers, regardless of holidays worked.

Call schedule includes one night per week and one weekend per month.
