The Indianapolis API site has a long legacy of operating at a high level of operational excellence while producing life saving medicines for many decades. We are currently executing a complex modernization and transformation effort across the site bringing new manufacturing processes and upgrading our systems and business processes in parallel. We are seeking a talented candidate to lead the site Operational Excellence program and be central to driving this important program.
The Site Operational Excellence Lead is accountable for executing and supporting the Operational Excellence Management System for Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q). Reporting to Site Head, this role focuses on site-level implementation, coaching, and continuous improvement of Operational Excellence to ensure alignment with the overall strategy and governance. The Site OPEX Lead serves as the key interface between the Global OpEx team and the site, as well as the interface between the Site OPEX Team and the Site Leadership Team (SLT). The Business Partner is an SME in Lean, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, Manufacturing Standards of Operational Excellence, and Human Performance Reliability. This role involves a balance of execution, coaching, and administrative leadership.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $122,250 - $179,300. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
