What you will do :

We're seeking a Senior Motion Designer to join our award-winning internal creative agency at Johnson Controls. This role is ideal for a highly creative, strategically minded motion designer who thrives on speaking up with ideas and contributing confidently to creative discussions.

You'll play a key role in shaping the visual storytelling of one of the world's leading smart buildings companies, delivering compelling content across video, digital, and experiential formats. Alongside 2D and animation expertise, you'll also bring fluency in 3D design and be comfortable working across platforms that host, publish, and distribute 3D content.

How you will do it :

Creative Development : Collaborate with the creative team to concept and storyboard animated content for product explainers, campaigns, social videos, internal communications, and brand storytelling.

Design Execution : Own the motion design process from start to finish-style frames, animation, compositing, sound, and final delivery.

Brand Stewardship : Ensure motion graphics align with and enhance our visual identity. Push boundaries while maintaining brand coherence.

Collaboration : Actively participate in team brainstorms, kickoffs, and stakeholder reviews. Present and defend creative decisions clearly and respectfully.

Efficiency & Ownership : Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work. Collaborate with editors, designers, and copywriters to streamline post-production workflows.

HIRING SALARY RANGE : $71,000 - $115,000. This position includes a competitive benefits package.

This is a hybrid position at our Glendale, WI office. Requires 3 days in office.
