Your Role : Assistant Office Manager

As the Assistant Office Manager , you will be a vital part of the leadership team, supporting the Office Manager and partnering closely with dentists and clinical staff. Your focus will be on driving team efficiency, exceptional patient service, and operational success.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations and ensure efficient, compliant workflows
  • Assist with personnel management : hiring, coaching, and development
  • Help manage patient relations, scheduling, billing, and insurance inquiries
  • Guide team performance to meet financial, productivity, and service goals
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager and dentists to maintain a patient-first environment
  • Generate monthly and special reports as needed
  • Ensure proper ordering and inventory of dental and office supplies
  • Address and resolve staff, patient, or provider concerns professionally
  • Participate in community marketing and outreach events
  • Step in wherever needed—your flexibility and leadership make a difference every day
  • What You Bring

  • Proven experience in dental, medical, or office management is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead with empathy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Comfortable navigating both the clinical and administrative aspects of the practice
  • Requirements

    Essential Requirements & Qualifications :

  • 2 or more years of management experience, preferably in a dental or medical setting
  • Preferred 3-5 years of front office dental experience
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet schedules and deadlines
  • Personal maturity and emotional intelligence to manage under demanding circumstances
  • Pleasant and respectful manner with patients and staff
  • Patience, understanding, and consideration for others
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to present and speak professionally in front of groups
  • Independent thinking, good judgment, and initiative
  • Ability to follow instructions and handle confidential information
  • Teamwork, dependability, and promptness
  • Ability to manage repetitive detail-oriented tasks
  • Flexibility to accept different work assignments with a positive attitude
