Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or Compact State (required at submission)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)

Flu vaccine (required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Room

Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols

Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed

Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff

Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Respond effectively to medical emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions

Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
