The IPM Support role is essential for providing daily assistance to the Growing department. This position focuses on pest management activities, including trap placements, pest identification, and recording and reporting findings to the department Grower. Additional responsibilities include supporting various growing activities.
Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Regularly inspect and replace pest traps, document pest presence and activity levels, and report findings to the Grower.
- Assist in greenhouse sanitation activities, such as removing webs and sanitizing growing areas.
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks related to growing activities, including fertilizer application, sanitation, and pest management.
- Assist with application of biological controls, irrigation and calibration of equipment.
- Perform other related or assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)
High School diploma or equivalent.2+ years in a horticulture position or related field.Ability to work cross-functionally.Proficient in MS Office Business (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).Excellent problem solver, team player, detail-oriented, multi-tasking, and well-organized.Ability to work long hours and some weekends as requested, especially during peak season(s).Ability to work cross-functionally and in team settings.Physical Requirements
While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
