What You Will Do :
Lead engagements from technical accounting support, and audit, transaction, and IPO readiness, to supporting the Office of the CFO on an interim basis, and assisting with the design and enhanced performance of financial operationsPositively impact clients' financial statements, profitability, and business operationsPenetrate client engagements in the firm's primary target industries.Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals and objectivesPlay an active role in providing valuable guidance and business recommendationsDeliver business insight through thoughtful review, analysis, and discussionManage cross-functional teams to deliver engagements and ensure client profitability targets are metUtilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new repeat referral sources, clients, projects, and revenueInvest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programsSupport the growth and development of team members, helping associates meet their professional goalsQualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting required, master's or advanced degree desirableCPA requiredFifteen (15+) years' experience with a combination of public accounting, audit, corporate financial accounting, and / or finance process consultingStrong technical skills and a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reportingExperience with IPOs and SEC filings a plusHistory of relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companiesDemonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skillsAbility to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
