Responsibilities Work in the Critical Care Float pool covering multiple ICU units in a hospital setting Patient assignments may include various critical care populations Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 45–07 : 15) Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday Use of EPIC EMR system; EPIC experience preferred Responsibilities include providing high-level critical care in multiple ICU settings as needed Pre-start and orientation modules are required and will be tracked by the hospital Must make up any missed shifts at the end of the assignment Testing is conducted during orientation; failure to pass may result in dismissal Team-oriented environment with support across critical care units Requirements Active MA RN license required at time of application At least 2 years of recent ICU experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Must provide two professional references, one from a Nurse Manager or higher Passing score of 80% required on a pass / fail EKG test during orientation Travelers must live at least 200 miles from the facility for eligibility Cannot have prior disciplinary actions on nursing license Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640615.
