A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - PCU Job Details : - Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM - 36 hours per week guaranteed - Every other weekend schedule required - Manage and conduct care for up to 3 ICU step down patients or up to 4 medical / surgical type patients - Provide professional nursing care through application of nursing skills and processes - Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care - Provide direct patient care as primary caregiver - Work collaboratively with care team members, physicians, and patient / family to achieve optimal outcomes - Experience preferred in DKA, ETOH withdrawal, Cardizem drips, and AFIB - Must reside outside a 60 mile radius - Work under direct supervision of Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of Director of Nursing - Access to confidential patient information and make independent decisions in collaboration with others Facility : This medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services with a focus on creating an atmosphere that supports their mission to care, heal, and educate.
