Urgent Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to provide ongoing full-time locum coverage at a large group of clinics across Virginia . The ideal candidate will have experience in both urgent care and occupational health , be local to VA , and available to work a minimum of 36 hours / week

Assignment Details

Start : ASAP ongoing as needed

Schedule : Minimum 3 x 12-hour shifts / week , rotating weekends

Setting : UC + Occupational Health clinic

EMR : Anthem

Supervision : Works autonomously with MD backup by phone

Patient Volume : Episodic visits, injury care, all age groups

Compensation

$80 - $90 / hour

Mileage reimbursement for local candidates only

Malpractice provided

Requirements

Board Certified (NCCPA)

Active Virginia license

BLS certification

DEA preferred but not required

Must be local (no flights, no lodging provided)

Able to commit to minimum 36 hours / week with rotating weekends
