Interventional Radiology Tech | MemorialCare – Long Beach, CA

Location : 2801 Atlantic Ave, Long Beach, CA 90806

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift

Job Overview

MemorialCare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech to join its radiology team in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate must have 1+ year of experience , with first-time travelers accepted depending on experience .

Responsibilities

  • Perform specialized interventional radiology procedures
  • Set up equipment and maintain a sterile field
  • Interpret dysrhythmias and assist with endovascular interventions
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor interventional procedures
  • Use Omnicell for medication management
  • Document procedures electronically

Requirements

  • Experience : 1+ year in Interventional Radiology
  • Certifications :

    • ACLS

  • BLS
  • ARRT R
  • CCI RCIS
  • Electronic Documentation : Required (any system)
  • Call Requirement : Yes
  • Weekend Coverage : Every third weekend

    • Required Skills

  • Scrubbing and circulating procedures
  • Vascular closure systems
  • Various interventional radiology techniques, including :

    • Angioplasty, embolization, stent placement

  • Liver biopsy, thoracentesis, paracentesis
  • Inferior & superior vena cavogram
  • Endovascular interventions

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Rate : $60.00-$65.00 / hour
  • Overtime : 1.5x after 12 hours / day or 60 hours / week
  • Holiday Pay : Includes New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

  • RTO Policy :

    • Must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission

  • Vaccination Requirements :

    • COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

  • Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only)
