Patient Volume :

Total Daily Volume : ~80 patients

Physician Load : Approx. 1.8 patients / hour

Support Staff : APP support

Full ED support : nursing, tech, radiology, and lab services

EHR System : Cerner

🛠 REQUIRED SKILLS & PROCEDURES :

Adult & Pediatric Outpatient Care

Newborn Resuscitation

Fracture Management (non-displaced)

Suturing & Incision and Drainage

Uncomplicated Psychiatric Evaluation (all ages)

Central and Arterial Line Placement

Airway Management & Short-Term Ventilation

EKG Interpretation

Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis, Arthrocentesis

Acute Volume / BP Management

Evaluation of Common Industrial Injuries

✅ CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :

Board Certification : Required (IM or FM with ≥2 years recent ED experience)

License : Active Michigan medical license required at time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS – All Required

Location : Must be local and within commuting distance (no exceptions)

🩺 EMPLOYEE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS :

Current Flu Vaccine (2024–2025 season)

COVID-19 Documentation or Declination (2024–2025)

TB Screening : 2-step within 12 months or Quantiferon within 6 months

TB Health Questionnaire

Hepatitis B : Titers or Declination

MMR & Varicella : Vaccination series or titers with quantifiable results

Tdap : Adult booster within the past 10 years
