ER RN Travel Job Details

Location : Warrenton, VA 20186 (Virginia healthcare job)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780-$1910

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 00), every other weekend required

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Setting : Emergency Department (ER)

Employment Type : Travel RN, On-Site

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS

Proficient in core ER nursing skills : phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG, splinting, wound care, and patient transport

Ability to float to appropriate hospital units as needed

Strong communication, teamwork, and self-motivation skills

Patient-centered approach focused on delivering exceptional patient and family experiences

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages

Perform comprehensive ER assessments, interventions, and documentation using Meditech EHR

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes

Float to other clinical units as required, based on skill set and department needs

Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient Emergency Department environment

Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including dress code (scrubs required)
