We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Accountant. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and provides the opportunity to work collaboratively within a team while also managing responsibilities independently. The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office.

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE :

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare trial balances
• The Senior Accountant will assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll as needed
• Support the monthly closing process, including journal entry preparation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• The Senior Accountant will provide financial documentation for banking or regulatory purposes as required
• Conduct financial analysis and communicate findings to management
• Review accounts for accuracy, proper recordkeeping, and compliance with budget guidelines
• Organize and maintain company financial records and documentation
• Assist with reconciliations, including CAM or other property-related accounts
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and support special projects as assigned
• The Senior Accountant will perform accurate and timely data entry tasks
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the Controller / CFO
