Job descriptionWe're looking for a skilled .NET Developer with deep experience in Cosmos and SQL databases, as well as a strong foundation in developing and deploying REST APIs. If you are a passionate team player, driven by technical excellence and a desire to collaborate across teams, we want you to join our dynamic environment. Work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment with product, tech, and QA teams to design and deliver robust software solutions. Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code while actively participating in detailed code reviews and technical design sessions. Communicate with clients, ensuring that complex technical concepts are conveyed clearly and professionally. Prepare and present engaging product demos that showcase new features and enhancements. Embrace a strong team-player mindset, contributing positively to a supportive and dynamic team culture. 4–6+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on technical design, code reviews, and coding. Expertise with .NET 6 / 7 / 8 (server-side) and mastery of C# (versions 10 / 11 / 12). Proficiency in developing with ASP.NET Core, including minimal APIs, controllers, middleware pipeline, filters, and dependency injection frameworks. Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful services (resource modeling, verbs, idempotency, pagination, filtering, sorting). Knowledge of API Gateway / BFF patterns and implementation of CQRS where appropriate. Skilled in working with OpenAPI / Swagger contracts, API versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation policies. Proficient in AuthN / AuthZ (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT token management, scopes, roles, claims transformation). Experience with caching strategies, including in-process and Redis. Hands-on experience with file handling for large uploads / downloads, streaming, and range requests. Deep knowledge of relational databases, specifically SQL Server and / or Cosmos DB (experience with both is ideal). Understanding of schema design concepts : normalization, pragmatic denormalization, partitioning, and sharding basics. Familiarity with cloud services (App Service, AKS / ECS / EKS), Key Vault / Secrets Manager, Storage, Service Bus / Kafka, and monitoring via Application Insights or equivalent tools.
