Base pay range

$155,000.00 / yr - $195,000.00 / yr

We are a fast-growing company in the cutting-edge field of Generative AI, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative environment that is shaping the future of AI technology and business solutions.

Position Overview

As the Accounting Manager, you will report directly to the Controller and play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting process improvements as we scale. This role offers an excellent chance to grow in a dynamic, rapidly expanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
  • Prepare financial statements and variance analyses to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Controller to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
  • Manage and support AP / AR processes, payroll, and cash flow management.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support the company’s growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including experience in a start-up or growth-stage company.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
