Senior Accountant - Texas Licensed

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant who will bring expertise, precision, and leadership to their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the hospice division

Perform detailed account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities

Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

4-6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice

Strong knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with healthcare revenue recognition

Experience with healthcare accounting systems or ERP platforms

Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
