Optical Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Optical Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute test procedures for optical components and systems used in space applications. The engineer will analyze test data, ensure products meet performance and quality standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-performance optical and mechatronic modules.

Responsibilities :

• Design and develop detailed test plans, procedures, and methodologies for optical systems and components.
• Conduct comprehensive optical testing and diagnostics using specialized equipment such as interferometers, power meters, and spectrophotometers.
• Analyze test data, interpret performance results, generate technical reports, and provide recommendations for design optimization.
• Develop and maintain automated test systems, including scripting or coding in Python or MATLAB.
• Troubleshoot optical issues in prototypes and final products, providing technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and integration readiness.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including test plans, work instructions, and performance reports.
